Double Dragon
A part of us remains wherever we’ve been—
a proverb in a fortune cookie. I recall
a mattress in the middle of the floor.
On the wall, a poster of Ché. I had
A moon face, green eyes, an open way.
Woman as sky. The forecast would change.
