Danny P. Barbare has been writing poetry for 44 years. His poems have appeared locally and abroad. He likes to write short poems about nature and his job as custodian on a daily basis. His poems have appeared in over 1500 online and print journals. Most recently in South Carolina Bards, Birmingham Arts Journal, California Quarterly, and Rapid River Magazine. He says he loves to recite his poetry to the students, teachers, office workers, and principal where he works. Anybody who will listen. He loves to travel to the Blue Ridge in which he misses since Helene, and loves to travel to Charleston, SC. His award winning poetry has won several of cash awards. He has several books available under his name that can be googled. He attended Greenville Technical College and AB Tech. He lives with his wife and small dog Oliver a Boston Terrier.
